Kilali Oshiro, representing Okinawa, was crowned Miss Earth Japan 2023 at the finale of the national pageant held on Thursday, 3rd August 2023 at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo. Kirari will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Earth 2023.

Kilali Oshiro bested 22 other delegates to win the national title. She is 20 years of age and a university student. Kirari was a strong competitor for the crown since the beginning of the competition and impressed the jury with her talent and strong communication skills.

The newly crowned Miss Earth Japan 2023 Kilali Oshiro’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Haruna Kokubo of Tokyo

2nd Runner-up – Arisa Nagasaka of Osaka

3rd Runner-up – Yume Kusunoki of Niigata

Miss Earth Japan organization also announced the news through their official social media as they wrote, “2023 Miss Earth Japan Tournament was held at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo! Congratulations to Kirari Oshiro (Oshiro Kirari / 20), a university student representing Okinawa Prefecture, who was selected for the Grand Prix.”

Also at the finale, Miss Earth 2022 Mina Sue Choi from South Korea and Miss Earth Fire Jareerat ‘Baitong’ Petsom from Thailand were the special guests at the event. Japan is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Earth pageant which began in 2001.
