The grand coronation night of the debut edition of Miss Universe Indonesia was held tonight at the Beach City International Stadium in Jakarta where Fabiënne Nicole Groeneveld was crowned Miss Universe Indonesia 2023. Miss Universe 2022 Rbonney Gabriel was also present at the finale as a special guest.

Fabiënne Nicole Groeneveld was born in the Netherlands and grew up in a bicultural family. She bested 29 other competitors to win the national crown. She represented DKI Jakarta at the pageant. The stunning Indonesian beauty is 23 years of age and a model and business graduate. She was crowned with the new ‘Shimmering Hope’ crown.

The newly crowned Miss Universe Indonesia 2023 Fabiënne Nicole Groeneveld’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Vina Anggi Sitorus

2nd Runner-up – Muthia Fatika Rachman

3rd Runner-up – Angela Yovita Lillo

4th Runner-up – Baby Kristami

Not a newbie to the pageantry, Fabiënne won the title of Miss Global Indonesia. She went on to represent her country at Miss Globe 2018 in the Philippines where she placed in the Top 20. She also won the Best in Evening Gown and Miss Photogenic awards.

Top 11 also included Alya Zahira, Grace Bersyeba Martina Haba, Novia Irma Grecia Hutapea, Jezneel Ross, Lola Nadya Larasati and Stella Vidyasari while Top 15 also included Desak Putu Ratih Widhiarta, Shania Binti Mahir Hamdun, Wirda Sheren Regina Simamora and Vensca Veronica Tanus.

Miss Universe Indonesia 2023 was the first edition under the new national director Poppy Capella which was previously held by Puteri Indonesia. Fabiënne will now represent Indonesia at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador.
