Miss Earth Kenya 2018 took place on 12th December 2017 at Carnivore restaurant where Susan Kirui was declared as the winner and was crowned as Miss Earth Kenya 2018. She will now represent Kenya in Miss Earth 2018. She was crowned by the outgoing Miss Earth Kenya Grace Wanene.
Susan Kirui (aka Suzy Kiriu) is 22 years old and a University of Nairobi student pursuing a degree in Accounting and Finance. She is also a passionate freelance model as well as a marketer. She lives in Mombassa province of Kenya currently and originally belongs to Nairobi. Suzy is a very determined person in life and calls herself a goal-digger.
After her win, Suzy was elated and shared the same feelings with her followers on social media, “Yaaay! I won Miss Earth Kenya 2017-2018. Believe in your dreams. So damn proud of me. Thanx for the support, my family, my rock. I hope I have inspired young people out there. Do not give up and chase after your goals, what God can do no man can put asunder.”
Susan will now promote some significant projects and will address issues related to the environment and other vital global problems. Along with this, she will also be the spokesperson for the Miss Earth Foundation, the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) & other chief environmental organizations as well.
