Miss Earth 2022 has officially begun with pre-pageant activities being held virtually before more than ninety delegates arrive in the Philippines to begin offline activities and events. This is the first edition after covid-19 which will be held on-ground, unlike the previous two editions which were held virtually.

While the delegates this year all seem to be prepared and determined to bring home the crown for their respective countries, Laos’ representative Tato Jitana Khidaphone could be the first representative from her country to win at Miss Earth 2022 crown. She has surely shown tremendous potential to be crowned Miss Earth 2022.

Tato Jitana Khidaphone is 23 years of age and a model by profession. She is an Environmental Science graduate from the National University of Laos. She is currently pursuing her master's degree at the National University of Laos. Tato participated in a field training course in Conservation Biology & Global Health of the Human - Environment Interface.

Tato has prepared for her international stint ever since she was adjudged Miss Earth Laos 2022. From perfecting her catwalk, to learning how to communicate efficiently, the Laos’ beauty is doing her best to win a strong placement and ultimately the crown for her country.

If Tato wins the Miss Earth 2022 crown, she will debut her country’s win at the prestigious pageant. Laos has failed to place in the Top 20 at Miss Earth since the pageant began in 2001.
