The organization of Miss Earth Myanmar will host the virtual coronation ceremony soon where 18 delegates from all over the country will compete for the national title and the opportunity to represent the country at Miss Earth 2021 stage. Amara Shune Lei was appointed as Miss Earth Myanmar 2020 a few days ago and will be representing the country at Miss Earth 2020 stage. But the organization will be crowning the representative for Miss Earth 2021 at the end of the event finale.
While there is a lot of excitement surrounding the selection of the next representative, there is one name which is on almost all the lists and she is none other than Theint Zar Chi. Hailing from the province of Taunggyi, Theint is 23-years-old and stands 172 cm tall and has has graduated from Mandalay Institute of Technology in Mechanical Engineering and currently manages at DUYA Bakery House. She believes that she will be able to perform her best at the competition and will emerge as the winner for the title of Miss Earth Myanmar 2021.
She is not new to pageantry as she was the winner of Miss Myanmar Mandalay Region 2018 and has worked very hard to be at the place she is. She has expressed her happiness and support towards the newly crowned queen Amara Shune Lei as Miss Earth Myanmar 2020 and believes that she would make the country proud as she is strong, focused, and determined towards her goal. This year’s awards at Miss Earth Myanmar competition includes, Miss Earth Myanmar 2020, Miss Earth Myanmar 2021, Miss Asia Pacific International Myanmar 2021, Miss Earth Teen Myanmar, Miss Earth Air, Miss Earth Water, and Miss Earth Fire.
The diva deeply cares about the nature and wants to use the platform to promote and create awareness regarding air pollution. She termed air pollution as ‘silent killer’ of the mother earth and further explained that earth is now currently facing a lot of environmental concerns and air pollution is one of the biggest threats of the environment which needs the attention right now. “Air pollution has its effects on everyone including humans, animals, cities, forests, and aquatic ecosystem. It is an invisible killer for the creatures and has already caused millions of deaths”, she believes.
Theint who is one of the strongest contenders at the competition right now feels that the platform of Miss Earth Myanmar would help her to reach to a massive audience and create awareness about the things that have been silently destroying or disrupting the environment. She wants to run campaigns on how one can control and reduce the silent killer of the planet and she has a mission to plant more trees in the future.
The diva feels that she will try to give her best at the competition and maintain her culture and values along with her passion and determination on-stage. “I will carry out my endeavors and persevere throughout my journey at Miss Earth Myanmar 2021,” she stated. The diva is prepping herself up for the finale event as she working on all aspects including body, beauty, brain, behavior, personality, catwalk, etc. She has performed exceptionally well at the pre-pageant activities conducted for Miss Earth 2020 and will be continuing to do so until the finale. She has also been reading about environmental problems in order to find ways to save them or work on reducing them.
