Miss Earth Myanmar organization has elected the burmese beauty, Theint Zar Chi Nyunt as Miss Earth Myanmar 2021. Zar succeeds Miss Earth Myanmar 2020 Amara Shune Lei and will be representing Myanmar at Miss Earth 2021.
Theint is 24 years old and stands 172cm tall. She is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Mandalay Technological University and is passionate about environmental protection. Since the announcement of the virtual coronation ceremony, Theint emerged as a fan favourite for the title. She currently manages at DUYA Bakery House and believes that she will be able to perform her best at the competition and and make her country proud at Miss Earth 2021.
Not new to the pageant industry, she was the winner of Miss Myanmar Mandalay Region 2018 and has worked very hard to be at the place she is. She had also expressed her happiness and support towards the outgoing queen Amara Shune Lei as Miss Earth Myanmar 2020.
The diva deeply cares about the nature and wants to use the platform to promote and create awareness regarding air pollution. She termed air pollution as ‘silent killer’ of the mother earth and further explained that earth is now currently facing a lot of environmental concerns and air pollution is one of the biggest threats of the environment which needs the attention right now. “Air pollution has its effects on everyone including humans, animals, cities, forests, and aquatic ecosystem. It is an invisible killer for the creatures and has already caused millions of deaths”, she believes.
Theint feels that the platform of Miss Earth Myanmar will help her to reach to a massive audience and create awareness about the things that have been silently destroying or disrupting the environment. She wants to run campaigns on how one can control and reduce the silent killer of the planet and she has a mission to plant more trees in the future.
After Myanmar's success last year in placing Top 8 with the beautiful Amara Shune Lei, Myanmar is coming strong and determined to capture their first Miss Earth Crown under the delegation of Theint Zar Chi, who is ready to protect our environment, our Mother Earth.
Will Myanmar make it to the top again? What do you think?
