Myanmar is all set to return to Miss Earth this year after its absence at the pageant last year. Soung Hnin San has been crowned Miss Earth Myanmar 2023 and will compete at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam. The finale was held on 14th October 2023 at the Royal Mei Hua Function Hall in Yangon.
Soung Hnin San is 18 years of age and hails from Muse, Shan State. She bested 19 other delegates to win the national crown. Soung succeeds and was crowned by Miss Earth Myanmar 2021 Linn Htet Htet Kyaw.
On winning Miss Earth Myanmar 2023, Soung took to her official social media as she wrote, “Thank you to all the family members who supported me as much as they could. Thank you to all the sponsors who supported Miss Earth Myanmar. Thank you to Jony Chris who took the most beautiful pictures and all the fans who supported.”
Miss Earth 2023, the 23rd edition of Miss Earth, will be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on 22nd December 2023 where Miss Earth 2022 Mina Sue Choi of South Korea will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
