In a recent announcement, Miss Niger organisation officially declared the winner for the title of Miss Earth Niger 2021. Miriam Abdou Saleye is the newly elected Miss Earth Niger 2021, becoming the first ever delegate from Niger to represent at the Miss Earth competition.
Miriam is an entrepreneur and recently started her own communication and event company. She is a staunch feminist and wants to fight for the education of young girls. No stranger to the pageant world, the queen is the reigning Miss Niger i.e., Miss Niger 2020. She has been using the platform to advocate for the girl child and says, "Being female should not be a brake. It is a force." She believes that young girls can change the world and wishes to provide them with the right tools to achieve that. Previously she won the title of Miss West Africa Photogenic 2019 and Miss University Africa Niger 2017.
“I am happy and honored to be Niger’s first candidate. I will do my best to bring out the colors of my dear country. The last month of autumn, but the beginning of a new adventure, time to take risks and do the unexpected,” she shared the news on her social media.
Miss Niger organisation is confident under Miriam’s delegation to make debut at the Miss Earth pageant, trusting in her to put forth a strong representation at the event. Miss Earth 2021, the 21st edition of Miss Earth, is all set to be held later this year in November, where delegates from all over the world will compete for the coveted crown and become the Earth ambassador. The event will be held virtually this year where Miss Earth 2020 Lindsey Coffey of USA will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
Congratulations!
