Miss Earth Northern Ireland concluded with the crowning of the beautiful Maire Lynch on 28th May 2017 at Playhouse Derry. Julieann McStravick, Miss Earth Northern Ireland 2016 crowned her successor on the finale night. Maire will now represent Northern Ireland at the international Miss Earth final.This year 16 gorgeous contestants competed for the coveted title.

At the same pageant, Grainne was crowned as Miss Earth Northern Ireland Air, Nadia Sayerswas crowned as Miss Earth Northern Ireland Water and Arlene Trainor was crowned as Miss Earth Northern Ireland Fire. The event was full of entertainment and glamour. The ladies dazzled on the stage wearing amazing gowns and mesmerized everyone. The contestants went through two important rounds - swimwear and evening gown round.
The lucky girl, Maire Lynch was successful in winning the hearts of the judges and the people present at the event. Maire rocked all the rounds like a true beauty queen and is now ready to represent Northern Ireland in the prestigious Miss Earth 2017 beauty pageant.
Miss Earth is an annual Beauty Pageant which is aimed at promoting Environmental Awareness. Carousel Productions organized and launched the first Miss Earth beauty pageant in 2001 to actively promote the preservation of the environment. Miss Earth is part of one of the Big Four International Pageants.
