Jan Zowie Cruz was crowned as the Miss Earth Northern Marianas at an event held by the Exquisite Productions Marianas on Sunday, 24th September 2023, the official organization responsible for sending Northern Marianas representative at Miss Earth 2023.

Jan Zowie Cruz is 22 years of age and of Filipino descent. With a passion for Green Literacy, Jan is an advocate for trees and oceans. Her love for trees is as strong as her commitment to the environment.

Not new to the pageantry, Zowie previously held the title of Miss Water at the first Miss Earth Northern Marianas national pageant in 2019. With her strong advocacy and experience in the pageant world, Jan will surely be a strong contender for the international crown.

Jan succeeds Miss Earth Northern Marianas 2022 Katherine Maria Johnson. Miss Earth 2023, the 23rd edition of Miss Earth, will be held in Vietnam on 16th December 2023 where Miss Earth 2022 Mina Sue Choi of South Korea will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
