Miss Earth Puerto Rico organization is all set to host the 2022 edition of the national pageant soon as delegates from all over the country will compete for the national crown and to win an opportunity to represent Puerto Rico at Miss Earth 2022. Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2021 Cristina Mariel Ríos will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

The organization hosted the orientation for the new delegates in July here the reigning queen Cristina Mariel Ríos welcomed the new candidates. San Sebastián’s Paola González Torres is definitely rising as a strong contender for the crown this year as she also has the opportunity to create a back-to-back win for the town as Cristina also represented San Sebastián last year.

The stunning diva is a chemistry student and also a Volleyball player. The diva recently turned her dreams into reality as she gave a stellar jury interview and was elated to share her purpose and for it to be heard.

She is extremely grateful for the opportunity to represent the town as she recently shared, “Representing my beautiful town of San Sebastián is my greatest pride. Eternally grateful to all the people who have supported me during this journey. To my team, thank you for trusting me. To my family and friends for not leaving me alone for a minute. In short, you are my beautiful people from the town of San Sebastián, my engine to follow.”

Last year, Cristina represented San Sebastián at Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2021 competition and was crowned Miss Earth Water Puerto Rico 2021 at the end of the event finale. She later on replaced Valerie Vigoreaux as the new Miss Earthh Puerto Rico and represented the country at the virtual Miss Earth 2021 pageant, where her performance was highly appreciated but the diva finished unplaced.

This year, Paola González Torres has a chance to win San Sebastián’s second national crown in a row as she is strong, dedicated and is definitely one of the favourites for the title.
