N'jainatu Sesay crowned Miss Earth Sierra Leone 2019

Miss Earth Sierra Leone 2019 held its grand coronation night on 13th July 2019 where N'jainatu Sesay was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Sierra Leone in Miss Earth 2019. N'jainatu Sesay succeeds Miss Earth Sierra Leone 2018 Alma Nancy Sesay.

From Tokeh, N'jainatu is 22 years of age and competed at the competition with sincerity and dedication. This year’s edition celebrated Sierra Leonean oceans as the delegates focused on the importance of Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling plastic waste in the ocean. With all the alarming issues faced globally by the environment, the pageant is sure doing its job about spreading awareness amongst the people.

Here are the contestants who competed for the national contest - Grace Koroma Miss Bureh Beach 2019, Joelle Hamelberg Miss River Number Two Beach 2019, Mariama Bangura Miss Goderich Beach 2019, Kadiatu Kabia Miss Sussex Beach 2019, Jennifer Korjia Miss Lakka Beach 2019, Edith Eva O’Rielly Miss John Obey Beach 2019, Fatima Kamara Miss Mama Beach 2019, Anthea Forster Miss Lumley Beach 2019, N’Jainatu Sesay Miss Tokeh Beach 2019, Miss Black Johnson Beach 2019.

Miss Earth Sierra Leone 2018 Alma Nancy Sesay represented Sierra Leone in Miss Earth 2018 but unfortunately failed to win a spot in Top 18, although she did win a gold medal at the National Costume Competition. Sierra Leone is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Earth pageant. Congratulations to the newly crowned queen.
