Fernanda Castedo competed in the recently concluded Miss Bolivia 2019 which was held on 6th July 2019 at the Sirionó de la FexPo, in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra. She was adjudged as the second runner-up at the conclusion of the pageant with her exceedingly well performance. Now, she has been appointed Miss Earth Bolivia 2019 aka Miss Tierra Bolivia 2019 and will represent Bolivia in Miss Earth 2019.

From Litoral, Fernanda is 23 years of age and is an environmental engineer by profession. As her advocacy, she has collaborated with Fundare (Fundación para el Reciclaje) to promote solid waste systems for businesses. The gorgeous beauty is fluent in Spanish, English and German.

On her appointment, she took to her social media to reveal her emotions in a post, “Its Official! Philippines Here We Go! Dreams are possible. I eternally thank my parents and all my family! To all those who believed in me and supported me throughout this journey, it is not easy, it was not easy and we are going to continue working because if it comes easy I do not want it. I will give everything of my to present to the world how beautiful and bio diverse BOLIVIA is! This contest was made for me. I managed to join my two loves, my passion for environmental engineering and my new love for the catwalk and the beauty pageants.”

Last year, Karen Quispe represented Bolivia in Miss Earth 2018 but failed to place in the Top. Bolivia is yet to represent Bolivia in Miss Earth pageant.
