Somalia is all set to debut at Miss Earth pageant this year as the official organization has appointed Hibaq Ahmed as the new Miss Earth Somalia 2022. Hibaq will pioneer her country’s participation at Miss Earth 2022 this year.

Hibaq is 26 years of age and a fashion model, support worker, and an English teacher. She recently wrote a book about the importance of reading and how to become a better individual at it. Not new to the pageantry, she also represented Somalia in Miss Elite World 2022.

For Hibaq, the representation of Somali women in beauty pageants is very important as it will help spread the word about the beauty of their country and teach women to take the present opportunities and make the most of life.

Miss Earth organization also took to their official social media to make the official announcement as they wrote, “Somalia’s first Miss Earth delegate is Hibaq Ahmed. She is a fashion model, support worker and an English teacher. Hibaq wrote a book about the importance of reading and reading improvement.”
