Lê Nguyen Bao Ngoc of Vietnam was crowned Miss Intercontinental 2022 at the coronation night held on 14th October 2022 at the Meraki Resort in Sharm el-Sheij, Egypt. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Intercontinental 2021 Cinderella Faye Elle Obeñita of the Philippines.

Ngoc was born on 18th June 2001 in C?n Tho. Currently, she is a student of the Faculty of Business Administration at Ho Chi Minh City International University. She has also achieved IELTS 8.0 which shows her English proficiency. Ngoc is also the first ever Vietnamese to win the Miss Intercontinental 2022 crown.

Standing 185 cm tall, the 21-year-old beauty queen lives by the motto, ‘There is a lesson in almost everything that you do, and getting the lesson is how you move forward.’ At the Q/A portion at Miss Intercontinental 2022, Ngoc was asked, "From which failure in your life have you learnt the most lessons?" to which she confidently highlighted the power of will.

"The fact that you don't try your best will lead to failure. That's why I have learned the lesson that no matter what I do, I must try 100%, and devote everything to it. The challenge I want to conquer the most is the title of Miss Intercontinental. I am ready and Vietnam is ready for the title of Miss Intercontinental," she quoted.

She vowed to become an ambassador to spread the message of beauty, love, nationality and cultural integration of Miss Intercontinental. Not new to the pageant world, Ngoc competed at Miss Vietnam 2020 and this was the first beauty pageant she attended. At the end of the event finale, she placed in the Top 22.

In 2022, she returned to the pageantry by competing at Miss World Vietnam 2022. During the pageant, Ngoc she entered the Top 20 finalists with the award Miss Fashion. At the finale night, she continued to win Beauty with a Purpose award, entered the Top 5 and then ending up winning the 1st runner-up. Through the placement, Ngoc won the right to compete at Miss Intercontinental 2022.
