At the conclusion of Miss Earth Sri Lanka 2018 held on 10th September 2018, Nathasha Fernando was crowned the new queen. She will now represent Sri Lanka at Miss Earth 2018 to be held on 3rd November 2018 in the Philippines.
Nathasha succeeds Miss Earth Sri Lanka 2017 Shyama Dahanayal. Shyama represented Sri Lanka at Miss Earth 2017 where she was placed in the Top 20 during the finale. We expect nothing less from Nathasha at Miss Earth 2018.
The 21-year-old Nathasha Fernando is an engineering student and enjoys sketching, handcrafting, dress designing, reading books, and someday hopes to make her mark as a network engineer, model, and environmental and social activist. She hopes to conserve the marine ecosystem and the coastal areas of Sri Lanka and to restore the coastal habitat in the parts of the country that have already been affected.
Sri Lanka is yet to take home the crown of Miss Earth, so Angelopedia congratulates Natasha for her national win and wishes her all the very best for her delegacy as Miss Earth Sri Lanka 2018 at Miss Earth 2018.
