Miss World Kenya 2018 was held on 8th September 2018 at the Westlands Rooftop Mall, Kenya where Finali Galaiya was crowned the new queen. She succeeds Miss World Kenya 2017 Magline Jeruto and will now represent Kenya in the upcoming Miss World 2017.

Born and raised in Kenya, Finali takes pride in being the citizen of her country and the wonderful opportunity to represent Kenya at the international platform.

The gorgeous TV Presenter took to her social media to thank everyone who helped her through the process as she wrote, “We are one in Kenya! Let us lift each other up. Greatness can be achieved, let us continue to make our Country Great. I believe, we, the people have so much love to share and it's time we share it with the world. Winning the Miss World Kenya pageant has been a dream come true; every second, every minute has been surreal. I have worked very hard and promise to continue doing so.”

She went on to say, “Thank you for your part in my journey, thank you for your prayers, thank you for your wishes and thank you for believing in me. Thank you! I would like to congratulate Mr World Kenya Cula Budi - let's work hard and bring the crowns home! Congratulations to the first and second runners up for both Miss and Mr World Kenya.”

Finali also thanked Ashley Mungai and Ashok for helping her through the national competition and wrote that she looked forward to more input from them.

She completed her caption saying, “This crown is yours Kenya and my victory too is yours. I'm honored to say that I am now Kenya and not Finali Galaiya. From the moment the crown went on my head I ceased to be myself and I am now an embodiment of my country and my people.”

Miss World Kenya 2017 Magline Jeruto represented Kenya in Miss World 2017 and gave a spectacular performance. She placed in the Top 5 and was also crowned the African continental beauty.
