Miss Earth 2020, the 20th edition of Miss Earth, has begun with the virtual hosting as the contestants are giving their best performances to win the coveted Earth crown. Miss Earth 2019 Nellys Pimentel of Puerto Rico will crown her successor at the end of the event finale which will be held on 29th November 2020.

While the preliminary competitions have begun with Evening Gown competition, Fitness, Form, and Poise Competition, Talent competition and many more done and dusted with, there are a few contestants who have stood out with their dedication and determination to give their exceeding performances. So, without further ado, here are the standouts at Miss Earth 2020 from Asia and Oceania –

Roxanne Allison Baeyens Miss Earth Philippines 2020

Roxanne Baeyens is representing the Philippines at Miss Earth 2020. From swimsuit competition to talent competition to her stunning evening gown, Roxanne has competed in each round with same sincerity and dedication, if not exceeding it. The diva’s advocacy for the competition is to create awareness and educate people about Urban Gardening and Agriculture in the community.

Teeyapar Sretsirisuvarna Miss Earth Thailand 2020

Teeyapar Sretsirisuvarna or popularly known as Nampetch, a popular DJ in Thailand, is representing Thailand for second time in a row at Miss Earth 2020. At Miss Earth 2019, Nampetch placed in the Top 20. Ever sine the beginning of the competition, the stunning Thai beauty has shown immense potential for winning the crown. The diva’s advocacy for the competition is to invite everyone to refresh themselves and our earth together to engage in solving the ongoing environmental problems by reducing waste and pollution. Furthermore, creating a greener and cleaner environment for our earth by changing our daily lives and see the importance of recycling.

Thai Thi Hoa Miss Earth Vietnam 2020

Thai Thi Hoa is representing Vietnam at Miss Earth 2020. She has also shown tremendous potential to be a front-runner for the crown. The diva’s advocacy for the competition is to find a balance between human and Mother Earth. She wants to raise awareness for people and urge them to take actions to preserve the environment. She believes that mother earth is also our home and we must change our behaviour of consumption, she wants the people to take the action towards material sharing, reducing waste, organic consumption, biodiversity protection, saving energy and water and recycling. In all the preliminary competitions, thus far, she has been a strong competitor.

Tanvi Nitin Kharote Miss Earth India 2020

Tanvi Nitin Kharote is representing India at Miss Earth 2020. Ever since she began her journey, Tanvi has shown that through hard work and determination, everything is possible. In all the preliminary competitions, Tanvi has shown great poise, confidence, and grim determination to be an ideal representative for the crown. The diva’s advocacy for the competition is operating on clean energy harvested through solar power with her father’s visionary, at their firm, ‘Samartha Solar’. In doing so, she wants to generate awareness about clean and sustainable reservoirs of energy in lieu of burning our limited fossil fuels.

Suzy Ann Nielsen Miss Earth New Zealand 2020

Suzy Ann Nielsen is the official representative of New Zealand at Miss Earth 2020. While there are only three contestants from Oceania competing this year, Suzy has shown that she is going to be a strong competition to the other ladies. She did outshine at the preliminary competitions and is bound to have a strong opinion which reflects strongly about her. The diva’s advocacy for the competition is to implement greater environmental education in schools. She believes it is important to facilitate lessons and experiences that will inspire children to love and respect the environment.
