At the conclusion of the gala finale of Miss Universe Sweden 2016 held on 28th August 2016 Cloie Syquia Skarne was crowned as Miss Earth Sweden 2016. Cloie succeeds Miss Earth Sweden 2015 Maria Taipaleenmaki, and will now represent Sweden at the Miss Earth 2016 pageant.

Cloie Syquia Skarne Miss Earth Sweden 2016
Cloie Skarne, 21, is Filipino actress/TV anchor KC Concepcion’s half sister. Cloie is an ambassador for Operation Smile Philippines. She is the daughter of Gaby Concepcion with ex-wife, former model and actress Jenny Syquia. After divorcing Gaby, Jenny remarried and Cloie adopted the surname of her step father, Filip Skarne.

Cloie took to Instagram and thanked everyone for supporting her journey in the pageant.
"I'm MISS EARTH SWEDEN 2016! Thank you to those who have supported me and believed in me. I would not have been who I am today without you," she said.
At the same pageant, Iva Ovmar was crowned Miss Universe Sweden 2016 and will now represent Sweden at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant, and Clara Långsjö was crowned as Miss international Sweden 2016 and will represent Sweden at the Miss International 2016 pageant.
