Baitong Jareerat crowned Miss Earth Thailand 2021

The organization of Miss Earth Thailand hosted the coronation for Miss Earth Thailand 2021 on 25th September 2021 at DC Hall, Bangkok, where Baitong Jareerat Petsom won the title as she competed against 19 other finalists to succeed Miss Earth Thailand 2020 Teeyapar Sretsirisuvarna. She will now be representing Thailand at the upcoming Miss Earth 2021 pageant.

28 year-old Baitong stands 168 cm tall and an architecture graduate at the King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.She is the Environmental Ambassador for the Green World Foundation and the Sustainable Ocean Ambassador from United States. She is also the founder of a sustainable lifestyle brand called Baanbaan.

 

 

Baitong wants to speak on behalf of nature. “I want everyone to know, it can't wait. We have to change our behavior. Change the way we live. Saving the world is like helping yourself,” she says. Baitong’s experience and advocacy will jointly make her one of the strongest competitors for the Miss Earth title.

Hailing from Chumpon, Thailand, Baitong is not new to pageantry as she has previously competed at Miss Universe Thailand 2017, where she finished in the Top 10. Later in 2020, she again competed at Miss Universe Thailand and ended up among the Top 20 finalists.

Last year, Miss Earth held its first ever virtual show where Miss Earth Thailand 2020 Teeyapar Sretsirisuvarna represented her country at Miss Earth 2020 and placed in the Top 20 with her stellar performance. This year, Baitong Petsom will represent Thailand at the 21st edition of the Miss Earth pageant, which is to be held virtually again this year due to the uncertainty of the ongoing pandemic situation, where Lindsey Marie Coffey of the United States will crown her successor at the end of the event.
