Miss Earth Honduras 2021 was held on 25th September 2021 at Copas Ruinas where stunning ladies from all over the country competed for the national crown. At the end of the event finale, Jissel Rivera was crowned the new queen and became the official representative of Honduras at Miss Earth 2021. Miss Earth Honduras 2020 Mary Cruz Cardona will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
Jissel Rivera is 20 years of age and a Systems Engineering student. She gave a stellar performance at the finale with her beauty and dedication. Jissel is a part of an organization dedicated to the reforestation of mangroves and the cleaning of the Roatan beaches. She wanted to become an entrepreneur to help other women achieve empowerment in Honduras.
Jissel took to her official social media to reveal her emotions in a post captioned, “Dedication, perseverance and effort. Thank you for teaching me the meaning of each of these words and for training me on this path. I am so grateful to you and to all the people who have supported me on this path.”
In another post, she wrote, “I feel so happy to be Miss Earth Honduras 2021. I am so grateful first of all to God and to my directors. @franc_academy @francdelcidhn Thank you for teaching me every step on this path and always supporting me. Miss Earth Honduras Thank you for trusting me, I will give my best effort and I will continue to prepare to give my all and leave the name of our Honduras high.”
