Miss Earth Thailand 2021 has officially started as the final details and schedule of events and activities were announced recently. The national director announced that the finals will be held on 8th August 2021 at DC Hall where Miss Earth Thailand 2020 Teeyapar Sretsirisuvarna will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
As the organization is all set to begin the screening soon, aspiring candidates have already started to send in their applications for a spot. One of the potential divas who has confirmed her intentions to participate is Yuyi Thidapon Ketthong.
Yuyi is 26-years-old and stands 172 cm tall. She has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Thammasat University and a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the Sirindhorn International University of Technology. She was a master's scholarship student through the TAIST Tokyo Technical Scholarship, a collaboration between Thai and Japanese universities.
Thidapon is not new to the world of beauty pageants as she was adjudged as the second runner-up at Miss Grand Bangkok 2020 and was also a part of Miss Universe Thailand 2020 where she was placed in the Top 20 at the end of the event's finale. She was crowned Miss Grand Sukhothai 2018 and represented the province at Miss Grand Thailand 2018.
The diva is self-assured, confident, and determined in her life goals, and her ongoing efforts to improve environmental conditions in her community show that she intends to represent Thailand at Miss Earth 2021. She has always expressed that she is extremely thankful for everyone who has supported her and motivated her throughout her pageant journey, which has allowed her to perform at her best at every competition she has been a part of.
