Miss Earth Tonga 2019 is all set to crown a new queen as the casting for the next year’s edition is now open to the potential candidates who wish to represent Tonga in Miss Earth 2019. Maria Aholelei, Miss Earth Tonga 2018, will crown her successor at the end of the finale which is slated to happen in May 2019 next year.

The potential candidates must fulfill a set to requirements to become the delegates of Miss Earth Tonga 2019 –

- 18 to 26 years old as of October 1st, 2019

- at least 5'5" tall

- never married or have a child

- completed year 12 or equivalent

- down to earth and have a beautiful heart

- be comfortable in a bikini/swimsuit

- must advocate for mother earth

- possess beauty from inside out

As a symbol of respect and honor to all the former beauty queens of Tonga who represented their country in Miss Earth pageant, the queens will be returning to the stage at the finale in May next year and play major role in choosing the next queen. Tonga is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Earth beauty pageant.
