The Miss Earth USA organization hosted the coronation ceremony for the 2022 edition on 8th January 2022 as stunning delegates from all over the country competed for the national crown and an opportunity to represent USA at the Miss Earth USA 2022 pageant.
At the end of the event, Pennsylvania’s Natalia Salmon was crowned as the new queen as she succeeded Miss Earth USA 2021 Marisa Paige Butler for the title. 22 years old Natalia is a recent graduate of the University of Maryland where she studied architecture and real estate development. Natalia currently works as an Asset Services Intern at Cushman and Wakefield.
Expressing her gratitude, the diva took to her social media to share, “Words… words cannot explain how blessed I feel. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. I truly couldn’t have done it without you all, you have no idea.”
She is the founder of Squad Limitless, an organization dedicated to working with children and young adults to empower them to discover their true identities and realize their full potential by developing their emotional intelligence. As a mental health advocate and active community volunteer, Natalia has also set-up free, downloadable age-specific workbooks that guides user on this discovery process.
In addition, she is a certified Climate Reality Leader, a LEED Green Associate Certification, and a Crisis Text Counselor. Natalia has logged 900 hours of community service with many organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Hands on DC, and has participated in many local park clean ups.
She also recently shared, “I am over the moon, and I still have no words. I have so many plans ahead especially to continue growing Squad Limitless and fighting for climate change. Just trying to bring the world together in a more peaceful way. Working with the Miss Earth USA organization has been the best experience and the group of women I competed with have been incredible. I would give every single one of them this crown.”
The diva is a true queen in definition and will definitely prove to be a strong representative of the country at Miss Earth 2022. She will represent USA at the 22nd Miss Earth pageant, recognized as one of the largest and most respected pageants in the world, based in the Philippines.
