The Miss Earth USA organization hosted the coronation ceremony for the 2022 edition on 8th January 2022 as stunning delegates from all over the country competed for the national crown and an opportunity to represent USA at the Miss Earth USA 2022 pageant. At the end of the event, Pennsylvania’s Natalia Salmon was crowned as the new queen as she succeeded Miss Earth USA 2021 Marisa Paige Butler for the title.

Miss Earth USA Fire 2022 – Hannah Welborn-Lewis of North Carolina
Miss Earth USA Eco 2022 – Emma Loney of Oklahoma
22 years old Natalia is a recent graduate of the University of Maryland where she studied architecture and real estate development. She is currently studying for her Lead Green Associate exam to help design more sustainable buildings.
Natalia also took to her social media to express her gratitude as she wrote, “Words… words cannot explain how blessed I feel. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. I truly couldn’t have done it without you all, you have no idea.”
The newly crowned queen is a mental health advocate and active community volunteer. She founded Squad Limitless to help younger generations become more self-aware and raise self-confidence by building their emotional intelligence through age-appropriate workbooks.
The auspicious night was also graced by many Miss Earth titleholders including, Miss Earth 2019 Nelly Pimentel, Miss Earth-Water 2015 Brittany Payne, Miss Earth 2021 Destiny Wagner, Miss Earth 2016 Katherine Espin, Miss Earth-Fire 2016 Corrin Stellakis and Miss Earth 2020 Lindsey Coffey.
Earlier this year, Marisa Paige Butler represented USA at the virtual Miss Earth 2021 pageant where she made the country proud as she was crowned Miss Earth Air 2021. She also won the Best Talent award in singing category and stood third in the Best Sportswear sub contest. This year, Natalia will represent USA at the 22nd Miss Earth pageant and compete for the second Miss Earth crown for the country.
