The finale of Miss Cameroun 2022 was held on 7th January 2022 at the Polyvalent Sports Palace in Yaoundé where Julia Samantha Edima was crowned the new queen as she succeeds Audrey Nabila Monkam Miss Cameroon 2020/21 for the crown. Julia will represent Cameroon at the next edition of Miss World.
Julia represented the southern region at the competition. She is 26 years of age and holds a master’s degree in business communication. The stunning beauty advocates for mental health and wishes to focus her efforts on the same through her reign. Julia is an actress by profession.
On being crowned Miss Cameroun 2022, Julia Samantha Edima took to her official social media as she wrote, “No words can be enough to express what I feel. Each cell of my body vibrates with gratitude towards you all. Thank you to the almighty God who watches over us and protects us, He who loves us all even when we do not deserve it. Thanks to Comica for allowing me to make this dream come true and to write a new page in my history.”
