Miss Earth Uganda 2017 Embark on Environmental Activities

Miss Earth Uganda 2017 is scheduled to be held on 25th August 2017 at Nanjing Restaurant and Motel Kololo, Uganda. There is a total of fourteen contestants vying for the sparkling crown this year. They all are making the best efforts to get prepped up for the finale night. For that, they are undertaking various events and sessions to get ready.

The contestants have started participating in two weeks’ boot camp where they will get trained on environmental issues, personal, onstage presentation and public speech. Also, the contestants got involved in different humanitarian and environmental causes.

 

Miss Earth Uganda 2017 Embark on Environmental Activities

 

Recently, we saw the finalists went to the Ngamba Island, the Chimpanzee Sanctuary. They explored the place and got to watch the scenic beauty as well as got some time to spend with the animals.

They also have been to Mabira Forests to experience the beauty of nature and to learn some amazing things about the Mother Earth. The beauties also went to the National Forestry Authority for the Training at the National Tree seed center Namanve and planted trees and named them Miss Earth Uganda and NFA respectively.

Apart from this, they have also been given training for a catwalk, great stage presence and public speeches to get all decked for the upcoming events.

The winner of Miss Earth Uganda will serve as an ambassador to environmental protection campaigns in the country and also represent Uganda in Miss Earth 2017 pageant.
