The organization of Miss Uruguay announced Lorena Sosa as the new Miss Earth Uruguay 2020 on 20th September 2020. She will be representing Uruguay at the virtual coronation ceremony of Miss Earth 2020. She is very excited to be a part of Miss Earth family and is assured to perform her best at the competition.

Hailing from Treinta y Tres, Lorena is 22-year-old graphic designer and model who also volunteers at her community’s dog shelter. She is not new to the pageantry as she has represented Uruguay at Reina de las Americas 2020 contest in Colombia, where she finished as Virreina de las Americas 2020. She was also one of the finalists at Miss World Uruguay 2020 and was also a part of Miss Ocean and Tourism 2019 where she represented Treinta y Tres.

Lorena is very excited and feels extremely blessed to be able to have earned an opportunity to represent her country at such prestigious stage. She is very grateful for all the opportunities she has received till now which has helped her to be a strong, confident, and assured woman. The diva likes to click pictures of the nature in its raw form and spend time with her friends and family who have supported and motivated her to believe in her dreams.

The diva is strong, confident, and will be using the platform provided to her to educate and create awareness about her environmental advocacy. She has started to prepare herself for the crown and will be focusing on her walk-onstage, confidence, and communication skills. The diva is beautiful, very strong with her advocacy and with her incredible performance and charisma, Lorena will make Uruguay and its people proud. The competition is going to start from September mid and the grand finale will take place on 29th November 2020.
