Miss Earth Venezuela is in its inaugural edition, and the organisation is making sure to make the 2017 pageant a grand opening event to remember. The finale of Miss Earth Venezuela 2017 is scheduled to be held on 20th August 2017, and the venue is yet to be announced. The winner will represent Venezuela at Miss Earth 2017 to be held on 4 November 2017 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Manila, Philippines.

25 out of the 26 contestants have been revealed, who are vying for the coveted title of Miss Earth Venezuela 2017. The contestants are spending every hour of their day practicing for the coronation night, and rehearsing for the big day. Last year, the representative for Miss Earth was chosen by Alyz Henrich, Miss Earth 2013 and Prince Julio Cesar, the new national directors of Miss Earth Venezuela pageant. Stephanie de Zorzi was appointed as the Miss Earth Venezuela 2016 in a small ceremony where she was crowned by Miss Earth 2013 Alyz Henrich. Stephanie represented Venezuela at the Miss Earth 2016 pageant and was placed as the Miss Earth Water (second runner-up).

Stephanie will pass on her crown at the conclusion of the finale.
