Kristel Ruiz Freeman to represent Costa Rica at Miss Eco International 2020

The organization of Miss Eco Costa Rica crowned Kristel Ruiz Freeman as an official representative of Costa Rica for Miss Eco International 2020 stage. She has succeeded Miss Eco Costa Rica 2019 Jessica Melania González Monge for the title and is very excited to be a part of Miss Eco International 2020 stage which has been postponed until next year due to the ongoing pandemic situation across the world.

Kristel is 22-years-old and works as a journalist and producer along with working as a professional model. She works at a tv program and feels extremely proud with her work as she explains that she gets to learn so many new things. She was crowned in the month of October, 2019 and has carried her crown duties till now and gets to prepare for the finale night which will be held next year.

Kristel has mentioned that she has always dreamt and aspired to be able to represent the home country at international stage and when she was appointed Miss Eco Costa Rica 2020, she felt like her childhood dreams were coming true and she couldn’t be more blessed and happier. “I have dreamt of this moment with the opportunity to belong to a great platform such as beauty pageants, to represent my country and become a spokesperson for different social causes and help fulfil dreams, because that's what it's all about,” she added.

The diva feels extremely blessed that she has finally a platform she needed for environment. “I will oversee encouraging you all to take care of our precious planet that is our only home. We can't live without her, but she can move on without us,” she added. She loves to be surrounded by nature as it makes her mind and soul at peace. The diva would use the platform to not only help to improve the environmental situation in the country but would also promote the country as it is a ‘destination for travellers looking for some fun and adventures.

Kristel feels that she is ready to represent the home country she had the privilege to know at an international stage and showcase the beauty of it to the audience. She is very proud of her diverse culture and traditions and strongly feels that it has helped her to shape herself in a positive and kind person she is today. She is very particular about her advocacy and shares about it on her social media frequently. She also believes, “Always remember your worth, your power, your strength,” motto. She is extremely grateful for all the support and love she has received and hopes to keep receiving until the finale night.
