Bárbara Laura Noel to represent Haiti at Miss Eco International 2022

The 3rd edition of Miss Cap-Haitien 2021 was held on Sunday, 19th October, 2022, at the hostellerie du Roi Christophe, Rue 24 b, Cap- Hai¨tien, Haiti where Bárbara Laura Noel was adjudged as Miss Cap-Haitien 2021 and won the opportunity to represent Haiti at the 7th edition of the eco international pageant i.e., Miss Eco International 2022. Noel succeeded Miss Cap-Haitien 2020 Guillaume Sam Rebecca for the title.

Miss Cap-Haitien 2021 Bárbara Laura Noel’s court included –

First runner-up – Dolorès

Second runner-up – Ruth Jean-Baptiste

 

 

Bárbara is the ambassador of ‘Hidden Sides Of Haiti’, a media initiative that helps promote the hidden treasures of the country. The CEO of Yawout Lakay is currently studying law and does modelling on the side.

After winning the title, the queen shared the news on her social media, where she wrote, “On the night of December 19, 2021, I was more than happy to receive this crown, because it is the result of hard work done with love, courage and determination. She is the symbol that pushes me to stay motivated in order to be a worthy ambassador of my city and my country Haiti. A Miss is far from perfect. She is a beauty queen who, despite life's obstacles, continues to strive to become a better version of herself.”

“In these difficult times when the country or more precisely my city Cap-Haitien, which is going through dark times, my message to you is to always hope that whatever the circumstances, your dreams can always become a reality. You just have to believe in them and fight tirelessly to make them come true. Always remain authentic and above all never lose self-confidence! I take this opportunity to express my feelings of gratitude to all those who have always believed in me and who have helped me throughout this very enriching journey. On the way to a new adventure,” she added.

The event was organized by the Association of Young Dedicated for Excellence in the North (AJDEN). The judges for the evening included Evens Pitchoulit Jean Louis – Consultant in Management of Cultural Organizations, Myrlande Jonas – Miss Cap-Haitien 2019 and Mendy Laurence Manigat – Member of Haitian Placement and Planning Advice Studies Recruitment Agency.

She will now represent Haiti at next year’s edition of Miss Eco International that will take place on 14th March, 2022 in Cairo, Egypt, where Miss Eco International 2021 Gizzelle Uys from South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the event.
