Ratu Wanita Malaya, the organization responsible for electing Malaysia’s representative for numerous national pageant titles, recently appointed Prasana Shri as the new Miss Eco Malaysia 2022. She succeeded Miss Eco Malaysia 2020 Shavina Balan to the title.

The 24-year-old is a student of dentistry at a private dental college in Malaysia. She stands 178 cm tall and believes in never giving up. No stranger to the world of pageantry, the dental student previously won the title of Miss Earth Air Kuala Lumpur 2016 and Miss Polo Malaysia 2021.

The Malaysian beauty shared the news on her social media handle saying, “To all my well wishers, supporters and fans thank you very much for always believing in me and supporting me in all our decision. Thank you to my team to trusting my potential. Please do support me throughout my journey. I'll do my best to bring to back the crown to my country Malaysia.”

Prasana will now represent the Malaysia at the 7th version of Miss Eco International which is set to be held on March 14, 2022 in Cairo, Egypt; where candidates from more than 30 countries and autonomous territories will compete for the international title and crown for 2 weeks. At the end of the event, Miss Eco International 2021 Gizzelle Uys from South Africa will crown her successor as Miss Eco International 2022.
