Miss Grand United States organization hosted the 2022 edition of the national pageant on 23rd June 2022 where stunning delegates from all over the country competed for the national title. At the end of the event, Colorado’s Emily Rose DeMure was crowned as the new queen.

Apart from that, Sydney Salinas was also crowned as Miss Eco USA 2022 at the event as the diva will now represent USA at Miss Eco International 2023. The newly crowned queen took to her social media to share, “I am your new Miss ECO USA! I’m still in absolute shock. My life has forever changed! I want to thank the organization for giving me the opportunity of a life time! Marcelo for truly believing in me and pushing me to do better and my parents for always supporting my dreams! Everyone who helped work with countless hours I am truly grateful for each and every one of you all!”

Hailing from Texas, Sydney studied at John B. Alexander High School and is currently working in Laredo. The diva is not new to pageantry as she has previously participated in Miss Grand Texas 2020 and Miss Grand United States 2021. She also revealed having done endless preparation and handwork to be able to represent USA internationally.

Sydney will now prepare for her international stint and represent USA at Miss Eco International 2023 to be held in February next year. She succeeds Miss Eco USA 2021 Jesaura Peralta, who represented the country at Miss Eco International 2022 and adjudged as the second runner-up at the end of the event.
