The organization of Miss Eco United Kingdom hosted the coronation ceremony for Miss Eco United Kingdom 2021 on 7th August 2021 at the Hilton Hotel Nottingham, where Melissa Rae was crowned as the new queen. Melissa will represent the United Kingdom at Miss Eco International 2022 and has succeeded Miss Eco United Kingdom 2020 Charlotte Sophie Brooke for the title.
Melissa is 25-years-old and is a medicine student and a green energy business owner. She is excited about taking over the crown duties and starting her preparations for the competition to make the United Kingdom proud of her performance.

The diva’s advocacy save water, save life’, which focuses on promoting oceanic conservation along with making people aware and educated about saving water around the world. She explains that she decided to take part in Miss Eco United Kingdom 2021 because "Miss Eco UK isn’t what I call a conventional beauty pageant. It is a pageant with a purpose and sometimes you have got to get your hands dirty and get stuck in for the greater good! (Biodegradable gloves are a good help!) "
Melissa is passionate about beauty pageants, medicine, and her advocacy for conserving water, and she has been using the opportunity given to her to reach out to people and educate them about how important it is to conserve water. She mentioned, "Access to sanitation, the practice of good hygiene & a safe water supply could save 1.5 million children per year! What I have come to realize is that water not only affects sanitation, it affects the physical and mental health of local people in these affected communities, but if that wasn’t bad enough, it also affects their livelihoods! Agriculture accounts for roughly 70% of global freshwater withdrawals and more in faster-growing economies. Together, we can be the difference we need to see in the world. "
The diva is strong with a clear vision of what she wants in life and how she wants it, which makes her one of the strongest contenders for the crown. She is beautiful, dedicated, and confident in herself and will start her preparations for Miss Eco International 2022 soon.
