The preliminary activities of the coveted pageant of Miss Eco Universe 2016, also known as Miss Eco 2016, is in full swing, and the fans are equally enjoying it.
On March 30’ 2016 a scintillating National Costume event was organized, wherein 55 aspirants from around the globe showcased some of the vivacious culture of their nations in the Best National Costume competition for Miss Eco Universe 2016. They strut their stuff one by one at the stage of Intercontinental Cairo, Egypt’s sprawling capital, for the international panel of judges.

At the same event, Indonesia won the Best National Costume, Miss Brazil placed as second, and Miss Vietnam were adjudged as third.
The 10 countries that qualified as the finalists for the Best National Costume were : Colombia, Venezuela, Myanmar, Brazil, Indonesia, India, Egypt, Costa Rica, Vietnam and Argentina.
The night came with some surprise elements as well, with spectacular costumes presented by the aspirants of Malaysia, Singapore, Nepal, Russia and Bolivia, who stayed behind. It was not at all an easy-breezy decision for the juries!
Indonesia has managed to win Best National Costume award in several beauty pageants. This shows the dedication and creative side of their designers, their talent and influence with their country’s affluent and sundry culture.
The stunning contest was organized by the Ministry of Tourism of Egypt and the UNESCO.
