Miss Ecuador 2018 is all set to organize its grand finale on 5th may 2018 at the Art and Culture Center of Machala where the 22 finalists will fight for the coveted title. Miss Ecuador 2017 Daniela Cepada will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
Miss Ecuador selects representatives who represent their country in Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss International.
The contestants arrived in the City of Ambato aka the beautiful land of flowers and fruits at the GAD Central Municipality where they were awarded a warm welcome by the Board of Directors formed by Mayor of the city Engineer Luis Amoroso, Mayor of Píllaro Dr.Patricio Sarabia, Miss Municipal Government Ericka Chango, Queen of Ambato Carla Medrano, Director of the Miss Ecuador Organization Maria del Carmen de Aguayo, and Edison, Óscar and Julio Pazmiño - Representatives of Dental Paz.
Engineer Luis Amoroso welcomed the contestants with a warm and emotional speech at the City Hall, indicating his happiness on their arrival.
Dental Paz’s Owner and Manager Julio Pazmiño and the Owner of Inalpev SA Ángel Pèrez received the contestants at their respective workplaces where the divas interacted with the people of different backgrounds.
They were given the information regarding the processing of pulp extraction of all fruits produced in the country, in addition to the mechanism and operation of the machines at the plant of Inalpev SA.
The finalists of Miss Ecuador 2018 also enjoyed the traditional Ambatena music and various dance forms of the city. The traditional night of Ambato, known as the Intangible Cultural Heritage began with the contestants crossing the streets in allegorical cars that grace the parade characteristic of the ‘Fiestas de las Flores y las Frutas’ (Fantasy in the land of Flowers and Fruits).
Also present on the wonderful occasion was Miss Ecuador 2017 Daniela Cepada who graced the streets of Ambato and posed with the men in uniforms.
