Miss Ecuador 2020 began on 17th February 2020 in Portoviejo, Manabi as the official bands were given to the twenty-two delegates who are vying for the national crown as well as a chance to represent Ecuador in Miss Universe 2020. The pageant usually sends the first runner-up to represent the country at Miss International.

A gala night event was held on 19th February 2020 at Simón Bolívar Convention center where the delegates paraded in their gorgeous evening gowns and national costumes. Designer Anabel Muentes who owns a fashion company Secretos de Luna was the designer of the dresses and swimsuits of Miss Ecuador 2020 gala night event. The dresses of the 22 candidates were made with fabrics from Casa Lulu, sponsor of miss Ecuador, "every fabric has a story to tell".

The gala night kicked off with introductory speeches by the delegates to the audience and the jury while being dressed in Ecuadorian company’s design. Later, the gorgeous divas walked on ramp flaunting their stunning evening gowns that reflected their personality and confidence very clearly. While all the divas walked the ramp with utmost confidence and dedication in their striking evening gowns, there are few delegates who stood out in the competition with their impressive evening gowns as well as their confident walk.

María Celeste Lozada Rubio

María Celeste Lozada Rubio is representing the city of Archidona at Miss Ecuador 2020. She is 21-years-old and was wearing the evening gown designed by Nardy Carrión. She wore a red coloured evening gown which showed her toned body beautifully. The embroidery on the gown was enhancing the beauty of the gown as well as the diva. She walked very confidently on stage with a smile. She is studying the Administration in Public Management. She usually volunteers for social work with the Reinas de Archidona foundation. The foundation works for the animal rescue. She has participated and crowned the titles of Queen of Archidona 2018, Queen of the Province of Napo and National Queen of Ecuadorian Folklore 2019.

Michelle Siguenza Revelo

Michelle Siguenza Revelo is representing the city of Quito at Miss Ecuador 2020. She is 26-years-old and was wearing the evening gown designed by Alexi Robalino. The diva wore a tail blue colored evening down and kept her hair on one side which looked elegant. She walked very confidently and radiated how much confident she is onto winning the title. She has a degree in Engineering in in Tourism Business Administration and Environmental Conservation. She plays volleyball and extreme sports in her free time. She volunteers for the social work with children from Pichincha communities. Michelle is the viceroy of the Ecuadorian Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey 2012.

Melissa Andino Ayala

Melissa Andino Ayala, is representing the city of Quito at Miss Ecuador 2020. She is 20-years-old and was wearing the evening gown designed by Abel Lara. She wore a pretty white colored evening gown which had beautiful embroidery on the upper part of the gown. She had her hair tied at the back and looked gorgeous as she walked on stage. She is in the sixth semester of Initial Education Sciences. Melissa likes to volunteer with non-profit organizations that works for the children with special abilities. She likes to play football and has mathematical skills.

Milena Guzmán Quiñónez

Milena Guzmán Quiñónez, is representing the city of Ibarra at Miss Ecuador 2020. She is 24-years-old and was wearing the evening gown designed by Silvia Peña. The skin colored evening gown was hugging her perfectly and showed her elegance and confidence while she walked the ramp. She walked with utmost elegance and conviction with a subtle smile on her beautiful looking face. Her short hair was just an advantage to her entire look. She is studying fashion designing. Milena is the president at the queen’s foundation of Ibarra and was previously crowned Queen of Ibarra 2018.

Diana Palacios Morales

Diana Palacios Morales is representing the city of Ambato at Miss Ecuador 2020. She is 26-years-old and was wearing the evening gown designed by Jonathan Tello. She was wearing a baby pink colored evening gown which had a cape attached to it. The choker like cape was looking very gorgeous and her perfect smile was adding like a cherry on the top of the cake when she walked on ramp. She's a lawyer Vice President of the foundation for development, sustainability and conservation. She was crowned Miss Eco Ecuador 2018.

Tatiana Guillen Jaramillo

Tatiana Guillen Jaramillo is representing the city of Cuenca at Miss Ecuador 2020. She is 23-years-old and is attending her seventh semester of Textile and Clothing Design. She does social work at the Reinas de Cuenca Foundation. Tatiana works as a volunteer in Solca and with the world without barriers foundation. She was crowned Miss Cuenca 2015 and is confident to win the title of Miss Ecuador 2020. She wore a shimmery evening gown which had colors blue and white. The gown showed her curves perfectly and helped her to walk gracefully and with conviction.
