The organization of Miss Ecuador will be hosting the coronation ceremony for Miss Ecuador 2021 in September 2021 in the city of Quevedo, where delegates from all over the country will participate and compete for the national crown and earn their chance to represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2021. The winner will succeed Miss Universe Ecuador 2020, Leyla Espinoza, for the title.
Leidy Granda Rey is one of the finalists who is competing for the title of Miss Ecuador 2021 and has emerged as one of the potential winners of the crown as she seems confident, strong, and determined to represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2021. She is 23-years-old and stands 170 cm tall. She has studied social communication and is a professional model.
The diva was the queen of Celica in 2017-2018 and Ms. Matilde Hidalgo from the province of Loja in the period 2018-2019. She is passionate about beauty pageants and believes that beauty pageants are progressive as they provide divas with a platform to work hard, stay focused, and work for the cause they believe in. The diva has started to prepare for the competition and is hoping to make it to the top position at the end of the event's finale.
Leidy is positive, dedicated, and understands that the platform is important and is preparing herself for it so that she can give other divas a tough competition and win her chance to represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2021, but also to learn about herself. She speaks English and Spanish fluently and enjoys playing tennis, basketball, and other sports in her spare time.
