At the grand finale of Miss Universe Egypt 2018 held yesterday night, i.e. 3rd October 2018, Nariman Khaled was crowned the new queen by her predecessor Miss Egypt Universe 2017 Farah Sedky. She will now represent Egypt in the upcoming Miss Universe 2018.
Nariman defeated seventeen other ladies to win the national crown. From Cairo, Nariman studied Business Informatics at BIS, Faculty of Commerce HU, Program Administration. She is also a former Intern at Planet for Growth. At the finale, she dazzled the stage in a gorgeous black gown.
Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters also graced the occasion with her presence. She motivated the contestants as she was a part of the panel of jury and made sure the contestants felt at ease during their tough moments.
The eighteen gorgeous ladies who competed for the title are Alaa Fouda, Bassant Sherif, Hadeer Khalil, Lamia Fathi, Leila Rihan, Lisa Samir, Malak Mohamed Ibrahim, Mariam Badawi, Mariam Moamen, Menna Waleed, Mirna Mitwally, Nada Degheidy, Nariman Khaled, Nelly Atef, Nourhane Saleh, Noureen Essam, Salema Mohamed and Salma Ibrahim.
Egypt is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Universe pageant. Last year, Farah Sedky represented Egypt in Miss Universe 2017 but failed to place in the Top 16. With Nariman’s win, there is no doubt that she will give a strong competition in the upcoming pageant.
