The Miss Elite organization has recently announced that they are terminating their franchise with the Hiyas Ng Pilipinas organization. They released an official statement that read, “With a heavy heart we announce the separation of our franchise with Hiyas ng Pilipinas. Miss Elite will be under a new organization which is more committed."

With this decision, the newly-crowned Hiyas Ng Pilipinas - Elite Philippines Azriel Atira Coloma will no longer compete at the Miss Elite 2023 pageant. Azriel was crowned on 27th March 2022 at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino at the coronation ceremony for HIyas Ng PIlipinas 2022.

Even though no further information has been disclosed yet, the organization did confirm that Miss Elite Philippines titleholder Shanon Tamponcin Hurghada, Egypt to compete in Miss Elite 2022 pageant to be held this June.

Shanon was recently crowned as sashed as she is currently preparing for her international stint. Determined to make a good impression and make the country proud, the diva is passionate about winning a crown that would give her the platform to her voice to be heard.

The Miss Elite organization is all set to host the 2022 edition of the international competition in June 2022 in Somabay, a luxury resort in the Red Sea, Egypt. While the details of finale are yet to be finalized, the pre-pageant activities will take place from 3rd June to 11th June 2022. The winner of Miss Elite 2022 will succeed Miss Elite 2021 Fernanda Pumar for the title.
