The 2022 edition of Miss Grand Japan will be hosted soon as the contestants from all over the country will compete for the national crown and fight to represent Japan at Miss Grand International 2022. Miss Grand Japan 2021 Chika Mizuno will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Miss Grand Japan 2021 Chika Mizuno represented Japan at Miss Grand International 2021 but unfortunately failed to place in the Top 21. Japan is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Grand International.
