Guatemala’s Jansodin Zúñiga unable to attend Miss Supranational 2022

The organization of Miss Supranational Guatemala, last year, appointed and crowned Mayra Jansodin Zuñiga Álvarez as the new Miss Supranational Guatemala 2021 in July 2021. The diva was designated to represent the country at Miss Supranational 2021 and later in 2022, but due to sudden turn of events, the organization has announced her inability to attend the international competition this year as well.

The organization of Miss Supranational Guatemala announces that due to medical conditions presented by Ms. Jansodin Zúñiga, current Miss Supranational Guatemala 2020. Unfortunately, she could not attend the 13th edition of Miss Supranational 2022 to be held in July of this year in the country of Poland,” they shared.



Last year as well, Mayra Jansodin Zúñiga Álvarez did not compete due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Guatemala had to withdraw their participation. It has also been announced that the organization will be electing a new Miss Supranational Guatemala 2022 on 8th April 2022, who will represent the country at the 13th edition of the competition.

The new queen will succeed Miss Supranational Guatemala 2019 Andrea Radford for the title, who represented Guatemala at Miss Supranational 2019 and made it to the Top 25 finalists at the end of the event.
