Chiika Mizuno to represent Japan at Miss Grand International 2021

The Miss Grand Japan organization recently hosted the final audition for the 2021 edition of the national pageant where Chiika Mizuno was selected as the new queen and was appointed as Miss Grand Japan 2021. They hosted an online audition last October 14th participated by international judges together with Miss Grand Japan 2020 Ruri Saji. Chiika Mizuno will represent the country at the upcoming Miss Grand International 2021 pageant.

The Nigerian-Japanese model took to her social media to share, “I, Chiika Mizuno, was selected as Miss Grand Japan 2021. Thank you very much. I am filled with gratitude. I want to reach the world. Taking full advantage of this opportunity, I will do my best to represent Japan in the world championships! Thank you for your continued support.”

 

 

25 years-old Chiika stands 177cm tall and is a Graduate from faculty of Education, Saitama University, currently live in Tokyo, Japan. She also won best in swimwear award in Miss Grand Japan 2021 competition. She is the first ever Miss Grand Japan who is African descent.

Mizuno replaces the previous title holder of Miss Grand Japan 2021 Sarina Chanana since she couldn’t compete due to the submission of the necessary documents had not been made in time by the deadline. Chiika will now prepare for her international stint at the Miss Grand International 2021 stage.

The 9th edition of Miss Grand International pageant, i.e., Miss Grand International 2021 is all set to be hosted in Thailand on 4th December 2021 in the beautiful and exotic city Phuket. Stunning delegates from all over the world will represent their countries and compete for the coveted gold crown. The organization will become the first to host two editions of the pageant within the same year. Miss Grand International 2020 Abena Appiah of United States will crown her successor at the end of the event.
