Bhasha Mukherjee was crowned Miss England at the finale held on 1st August 2019 at The New Bridge Hotel, Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom. The 23-year-old Indian-origin doctor wowed everyone at the grand finale with her incredible performance and scintillating beauty.

With mixed heritage contestants from all over the world winning the national contests this year, Bhasha is surely one of the most accomplished contestants to participate in Miss World 2019 this year. From Derby, the beauty queen has established herself as a contender to watch out for.

From speaking comfortably and fluently in five languages of English, French, German, Hindi and Bengali to being a confident orator in front of any panel, Bhasha has no problems facing a large audience. Being a confident orator is a quality most sought after in a Miss World queen because of Beauty with a Purpose advocacy which the queen runs through in her reign.

The gorgeous doctor has an IQ of 146 making her officially a ‘genius’. Holding two different medical degrees, one in medical sciences and one in medicine and surgery from the University of Nottingham, Bhasha was due to start her new job as a junior doctor in a hospital in Boston, Lincolnshire, just hours after she was crowned Miss England 2019.

Our beauty with brains delegate of Miss World 2019 Bhasha moved to UK in 2004 and is the first Indian-origin British to be crowned Miss England. She is so talented that she prepared for her Miss England stint while completing her medical finals this year.

Miss World pageant has witnessed quite a few queens from the medical background, the most recent being Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar and Miss World 2014 Rolene Strauss.
