The stunning model Deanna Johnson was crowned Miss Georgia USA 2017 and will now compete in the upcoming national title of the Miss USA 2017. The state finale was held on Saturday evening 19th November, 2016 at the Henry County Performing Arts Centre McDonough, GA. The previous Miss Georgia USA 2016, Emanii Davis crowned Deanna as her successor.
This 20 year old girl from Central East GA is not only a gorgeous model, but she is also a professional singer and was in the top 12 on The Voice Season 8 under Maroon 5’s lead singer Adam Levine’s team. She is an exceptional singer and a talented artist. Despite of having a very large number of contestants during the pageant, Deanna’s beauty and intelligence were unmatched and she won the coveted crown due to her on point answers and flawless beauty.
Georgia has been one of the most successful states at the Miss USA pageant, and is placed eleventh in the Miss USA pageant. It is one of the seven states in the USA that has won the Miss Photogenic award more than once. But, it’s astonishing to know that, none of the Miss Georgia USA pageant holders have ever won the Miss USA.
