This year the Miss Gibraltar organisation had selected a total number of 9 delegates who performed their best for the Miss Gibraltar 2017 title. Garcia clinched the prestigious crown after defeating 8 gorgeous finalists.

Miss Gibraltar 2016, Kayley Mifsud passed her reign and the crown to her successors at the end of the event.

The very first Miss Gibraltar pageant was held in the year of 1959, however, the pageant did not resume until 1964. Since 1964 the Miss Gibraltar pageant has been continuously organised for over 50 consecutive years.

Kaiane Aldorino, who is a Gibraltarian dancer, was the first and only Miss World from Gibraltar who won the Miss World title in 2009.

All in all, the event was successful and each contestant put forth their best foot forward to win the title.
