Denille Patterson finalist Miss Gibraltar 2017 – Know more about the beauty!!

Miss Gibraltar 2017 pageant is walking towards the finale in full zeal and power. The gala coronation is scheduled to be held on 8th July 2017. The finale is 3 months away and there are a total of 9 finalists competing for the coveted title. Let’s give you an insight to all the finalists and our next contender is Denille Patterson.

19 year old Denille Patterson is an Assistant Pharmacist by profession who enjoys travelling and keeping fit. She attends special Body Combat classes in her spare time. Denille speaks fluent English and Spanish. It is her ambition to be able to travel the world and experience different lifestyles and cultures. The beauty loves being in touch with nature and likes to spend her spare time with her loved ones.

The best thing she likes about Gibraltar is its comfortable lifestyle, multiculturalism and how the different community co-exist together as one. Talking about her motivation behind entering the pageant, Denille says, “I have entered various pageants in the past and feel it has been a while since doing so, I know I will thoroughly enjoy meeting new people through this experience whilst regaining confidence in myself.”

Denille also shares why she wants to win the Miss Gibraltar pageant and says, “I would love to be Miss Gibraltar as it is something I have always considered from a young age. I think it would also be a great opportunity to represent my home town at the Miss World Pageant.”

Miss Gibraltar pageant is produced by Santos Productions for the Ministry of Culture at the Alameda Open Air Theatre. The first ever Miss Gibraltar contest was organised by the Vox Newspaper. Won by Viola Abudarham, the first election of Miss Gibraltar took place at a dance organised at the CFCA hall situated at the southern end of Main Street. One of the shocking facts is that the first Miss Gibraltar was married at the time she won the crown. It was only after the pageant was resumed in 1964, the rules were modified.
