The Miss Global organization will soon be hosting the coronation ceremony for Miss Global 2021 in Bali, Indonesia, where delegates from all over the world will participate and compete for the crown. The winner will succeed Miss Global 2019 Karolína Kokešová from the Czech Republic for the title.
Maurah Ruiz is the official representative of the United States of America at Miss Global 2021 and she is excited about representing her country and starting her preparations for the competition. She is an entrepreneur and model currently residing in Miami, Florida. She won Miss Global USA 2020 last year at The Florida Hotel and Conference Center and will represent the country at Miss Global 2021 in Bali in November.
Maurah is passionate about health and fitness and focuses on always keeping a healthy body, mind, and spirit. She is a board member of a nonprofit organization called More Than Colors, www.morethancolors.org, which is an organization that takes unwanted makeup and turns it into the paint to provide art education and therapy to underserved youth while fueling sustainability.
The diva has experience in the fashion and beauty industry as a model and pageant contestant. A former Miss Austin America, Miss Heart of Texas USA, Miss Palm Beach Lakes USA, Miss Miami Global, Miss Florida Global, and current Miss Global USA, Maurah is looking forward to starting her preparations for the competition. She has worked as a professional runway model for shows like Fort Lauderdale Fashion Week, Austin Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, and Miami Swim Week. She was a second-round gold ticket finalist for the iconic Sports Illustrated brand and has modeled for Maxim magazine. She has also been published in several international magazines, like Fienfh, Moevir Paris, Infecta, and more.
Maurah blogs about both business and products alike and hopes to bring authenticity and a bit of fun to the health, beauty, and fashion worlds. She feels grateful and blessed that she is going to represent the country at Miss Global 2021 in Bali.
