Miss Grand Belgium organization held the finals of 2022 edition on 9th July 2022 at AED Studios NV Lint where seven stunning ladies competed for the crown and at the end of the event finale, Alyssa Gilliaert was crowned Miss Grand Belgium 2022.

Alyssa Gilliaert is 19 years of age, a student and model and lives in and from Brugge. On winning the national crown, Alyssa took to her official social media as she wrote, “Last night I was crowned to Miss Grand Belgium 2022. I still cannot believe it, it feels like a dream. I am so grateful for this beautiful chance and I am so excited to represent Belguim in Indonesia.”

The newly crowned Miss Grand Belgium 2022 Alyssa Gilliaert’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Sarah-Maria Lux

2nd Runner-up – Denisa Dema

Also at the finale, a number of special awards were also presented; Anke de Blieck was awarded Miss Personality, Theresia Mah A. was adjudged Miss Social Media, Denisa Dema was awarded Miss Photogenic and Sarah-Maria Lux was awarded Miss Charity.

Alyssa succeeds Zomkey Tenzin Miss Grand Belgium 2021 who represented her country at Miss Grand International 2021 but remained unplaced. The country is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Grand International. Congratulations to the newly crowned queen.
