Seng Rotha dethroned as Miss Grand Cambodia 2020

19 Jan 2021 | Angelique Reyes

Seng Rotha who was crowned Miss Grand Cambodia 2020 on 26th September 2020 at the premier Centre Sen Sok in front of AEON Mall 2 has decided to step down from her title today. She announced the news on her official Facebook page. The organization released her from her crown duties.

According to the sources, the queen stepped down from her title as Miss Grand Cambodia 2020 because the organization was not able to provide her with any help including catwalk training, photoshoot, and the prizes that she won. Due to this, Seng had to spent her own money for all the training and photoshoot which angered the organization and they planned on dethroning her but she decided to step down from the title herself.

Seng Roth was one of the strongest contenders for the title of Miss Grand International 2020 which is scheduled to take place on 27th March 2021 in Thailand. During the final question and answer round at the Miss Grand Cambodia 2020 competition, she confidently answered the question by stating that she is against the violence done to children and the women in the society and absolutely dislikes insecurity.

Seng is strong, confident, and determined woman who aspires to win the title of Miss Grand International 2020 and make her country proud. She had started to prepare for the finale night and was assured that she has the skills and ability to perform her best at the competition. With her stepping down from the title, Cambodia is losing one of the strongest contenders of their team.

Further news on who is now going to represent Cambodia at Miss Grand International 2020 is still a question to be answered.
